Sorry for the delayed note, but on Tuesday The Dervish finally pulled everything together and managed to avoid spouts to get Lurker down for the first time! Grats to everyone, and come prepared to do the same this coming week as well. Once we’re comfortable enough to get the fight down in 1 shot, we can move on to working on Hydross (if our tanks have the gear) or maybe Tidewalker.

3 ZA Loot Timers

For the first time, Warcraft Dervish has successfully completed THREE timers in Zul’Aman and were very, very close to a fourth. It was an excellent way to spend 4/20 this year!
Anyway, grats guys and girls and great job.

Long overdue update

It’s been a while since we had an update, and a lot has happened. The Dervish broke into 25 man content with High King Maulgar down and Gruul toasted in 9 growths! Then the next week (April 1st) we got our first Magtheridon kill. Now we’re trying to get a handle on TK, and last week we were able to get Al’ar down to 36% on our first night of attepts. We should have Al’ar and Void Reaver in the next week or two if things keep up as they have been.
On that note, we’re still in need of people to help us run reliably. We’ve been doing well on Tuesdays being able to run with 2-3 puggers, but Thursdays haven’t faired as well. First and foremost we’re in need of healers, but we could also use another OT or two so that we’re not reliant on 100% of our tanks on a given night. Keep your eyes and ears peeled, and let an officer know if you have any good prospects.
Malacrass down, Zul’jin not far behind

Thursday, after cleaning up Jan’alai left over from Tuesday, we were able to down Malacrass on our second attempt. While we weren’t able to take down Zul’jin we got him to 1% and 3%, so he won’t be long behind eating dirt.

Jan’Alai was next to take his first dirt nap from the hands of the Dervish last night. Two attempts was all it took to see his feathery, scaly arse up in the air. Unfortunately no timers were gotten though, despite all the other animal bosses being one shotted on the way to the Dragonhawk. Good job Dervish, keep up the good work!
Dervish meets up with Halazzi

This was our first look at Halazzi and our first attempt was all learning. Second attempt, umm… ask Imperior which druid form is best for tanking (got him down to 25%). Third attempt and Halazzi was down for the count. Great job Dervish! Also made short work of Nalorakk, so short that we completed our first timed event in Zul’Aman. Another great feat proved not out of the reach of Dervish!
First shot at Jan’alai

The Dervish took our first shot at Jan’alai last night. After an early first wipe, we managed to get him down to 52% on our second try. Very solid for our first ever attempt, and I’m sure we’ll have this guy down soon. Great job everyone.
Progression is… well… progressing!

Congrats to the Dervishes that were on last night Zul’Aman run for our first downing of Akil’zon! Pictures should be coming soon for those wishing to view our victory. It was the last attempt for the night, after a spree of lag and disconnect related issues and everyone pulled together for one last Herculean try! Not even a single death! Huzzah!
